Week 1C

8/27/2015

Outside of class we were asked to watch 2 short videos; one being https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR14ZJzsVxE&index=10&list=WL and the other being https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PnmdFqGBBM&list=WL&index=11. The first video was about how to use the interface which seems pretty easy to use. I pretty much knew almost all the information before watching the video. The second video was a lot more informative because it showed the difference between a raster and vector graphic. Raster graphics are pixel based image so they are at there best when they are at the right pixel size because they look very choppy when they are enlarged. Vector graphics are actually made of mathematical functions and therefore are always sharp and clean at any size or shape. Unfortunately photos are captured in pixels so they cannot be vectors.
